How I agree with you, Dustin. Whenever I see the gently flowing waters of a river, I can feel the calm settle into my heart and all the worries and pains of the day float away. Not many people can see that. Good for you.

You brought back my memories of my pretty pet rabbit and also the wild bunnies that lived near me. I, too, would watch them playing and sleeping in the grass. What happy days those were! Thank you for helping me to relive them through your poem.

Jake, I give you 5 stars for your poem. When I was first married, I too had a dirt bike. My husband would ride his, and I would ride mine, and we would ride all day, every weekend, getting muddy and wet, and loving every minute. Definitely fun! Great job!

I enjoyed the personification you used - having the leaves staring back up at the trees as if they were live, thinking beings. Very sophisticated writing.
