Very thought provoking, Andrew. You make me want to know why your sisters are fearful and if you are the one running in to help. Good authors always make the reader wonder and want more.

How I agree with you, Dustin. Whenever I see the gently flowing waters of a river, I can feel the calm settle into my heart and all the worries and pains of the day float away. Not many people can see that. Good for you.

You brought back my memories of my pretty pet rabbit and also the wild bunnies that lived near me. I, too, would watch them playing and sleeping in the grass. What happy days those were! Thank you for helping me to relive them through your poem.

So, it seems you like flowers, too, Jessica. You are a girl after my own heart. I would surround myself with flowers everyday, if I could, just for their beautiful colors and scents. You are a very sensitive and observant person.

You are a good teacher, Kyle. I like the details you gave by naming the type of shark and the specific places they eat, and that you did all that with just 17 syllables!

Jake, I give you 5 stars for your poem. When I was first married, I too had a dirt bike. My husband would ride his, and I would ride mine, and we would ride all day, every weekend, getting muddy and wet, and loving every minute. Definitely fun! Great job!

I love the picture of a butterfly landing on your hand with its sweetness, beauty, and the hint of summer. Thank you for that vision.

I enjoyed the personification you used - having the leaves staring back up at the trees as if they were live, thinking beings. Very sophisticated writing.
